First Purchase Offers

Incentivize customers to purchase from your business by offering free e-gift cards when they buy from you.

When a customer registers and makes a first purchase at your business, they will receive a brand e-gift card based on the offer amount and type of the offer you choose to promote. 

The first purchase offer is promoted to potential customers through automatically running  emails, as well as your downloadable kit materials (including email, social media, and in store assets). New first purchase offers are added regularly to your Fanbank portal with additional brands/e-gift card options, Facebook posts and designs to choose from.

All gift card fulfillment is handled entirely by Fanbank on your behalf and is included in your membership.

This offer includes a downloadable kit, an educational landing page, and a registration experience - all customized to your business. This offer may also be promoted by Fanbank through social media and email.

First Purchase Frequently Asked Questions

WHAT IS THE FIRST PURCHASE PROGRAM?

First-time customers will receive a free e-gift card when they complete their first purchase from your business.

HOW DOES THE PROGRAM WORK?

Customers sign up as a Fan of your business at your unique campaign URL before making a purchase. When they buy from your business using the card they enrolled during sign-up, they will receive an e-gift card from Fanbank’s fulfillment team.

WHAT DOES THE STAFF NEED TO DO FOR THE PROGRAM?

Nothing is required of the staff, however it is encouraged to promote the offer and let customers know to sign-up. Fanbank takes care of the rest. All fulfillment is handled by Fanbank and included in your membership.

WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THE OFFER?

Customers who sign-up and register through your unique offer URL are eligible. They must be registered prior to purchasing in order to be eligible to receive the offer. Employees and owners of your business are not eligible.

HOW IS THE OFFER PROMOTED TO CUSTOMERS?

Be sure to use the email, social media, and in store assets provided in your kit to promote the program. Many offers are also promoted on your behalf by Fanbank through social media and email.

HOW DOES REDEMPTION AND FULFILLMENT WORK?

If your point-of-sale is linked to Fanbank: Once a customer has registered, all transactions they make in the future are recognized automatically by Fanbank. That way, we can quickly and easily tell if a customer has purchased and we can send them their e-gift card directly. The e-gift card is sent directly to the customer within 3 business days following the transaction to the email they used to register.

If your point-of-sale is not linked to Fanbank: A customer must first register an email address and enroll a card. Then, when a customer completes a purchase, they must email a copy of their receipt, their full name, and email address to redeem@fanbank.com. When the receipt is received, the e-gift card will be sent directly to the customer within 3 business days following the receipt of the email to the email they used to register.
